I have to say I really like what the author has to say in this weight loss book. She has done her homework. There are three parts to the book that are appropriately in order. First part is why diets don’t work… She states most are fix’s and too strict and do not take into account individuality, whether it be issues such as hormone imbalances, allergies, digestion problems, nutrition, emotional issues and many more and goes into detail about each and more. Her main focus, and rightly so, is inflammation. Part two of the book shares her Anti-inflammatory 5 step live-it Plan with foods to focus on while building your anti-inflammatory kitchen. Part three shows menu plans and helps you, the reader to design your own. She shares awesome smoothie detox and super food recipes, delightful breakfasts, sensational salads, sauces and dressings, soups, main dishes , tasteful treats and snacks all eliminating highly allergic foods such as gluten and substituting more appropriate foods. I really appreciate the recipes I have tried, and though I am not a regular of meat and dairy, there are plenty of other recipes to tantalize your taste buds. I received this book from Hay House and the review is my honest opinion.
